“Blooming Through Her” began during one of the hardest seasons of my life after losing my mom this year. In those early weeks, I kept looking for signs that she was still with me, but for a while there was just silence.
Then one night, I had this vivid dream where flowers were everywhere, covering the ground and blooming in every direction. Later, my mom appeared beside me and said, “I’m here. I’ll always be here. Keep looking for the signs.”
When I woke up, I walked into my art room and realized the floor was completely covered in flower paintings I had made while grieving. It absolutely stopped me in my tracks, and that's when it hit me. This was the sign. She had been with me the whole time, guiding me through every brushstroke.
