These ocean art prints are inspired by my lifelong love for the sea and the little mermaid heart I’ve always had. The ocean has always felt like home, even though I grew up in Ohio. Every beach trip leaves me feeling lighter, calmer, and more inspired than when I arrived. Something about the waves, the salty air, and the bright colors has a way of quieting my mind.
That’s why I keep painting it.
This collection isn’t about recreating a specific beach or vacation. It’s about holding onto those feelings long after I get home. Every wave, jellyfish, sea turtle, and palm tree reminds me of adventures I’ve had, places I love, and the excitement of knowing the ocean is waiting for me again someday.
Whether I painted a piece while sitting near the water or months later from memory, every painting carries a little piece of my mermaid heart.

The ocean gives me endless inspiration.
I love the colors, the movement, the sea creatures, and the feeling of sitting near the water with my sketchbook. I do not try to make every piece look perfectly realistic. Instead, I focus on capturing the memory, mood, or feeling behind it.
Some of these coastal art prints feel peaceful and reflective. Others feel whimsical, colorful, and playful. Together, they reflect my mermaid heart and the part of me that always feels happiest near the water.
This painting came from a photo I took while vacationing with my boyfriend at the time. We spotted two birds sitting together, and I jokingly said, “Look, it’s us. Did you know most birds mate for life?”
Two days later, he proposed.
This piece helps me hold onto that moment and the feeling of realizing you are exactly where you are meant to be, even before you fully know it. Because the original feels so personal, I am keeping it for myself, but I am excited to share it as an art print.

I painted Funky Palm Tree while I lived in South Carolina, during a season when everything felt brighter and more colorful.
The palm tree reflects that chapter of my life, which felt full of creative energy, warmth, and playful inspiration. Loose brushstrokes and layered colors give the painting movement and personality, making it a fun and expressive piece of coastal wall art.

I painted this piece while vacationing in Honduras with my now-husband.
He was swimmin with fishies while I sat on the sand and painted in my sketchbook. It became one of my favorite days from the entire trip.
This painting brings me right back to that peaceful afternoon by the water, creating art while someone I love explored the ocean nearby.

I created Life Is the Bubbles during a fun live painting event in my town. Guests voted on what I should add to the painting, and their choices eventually led me to this whimsical octopus.
I named it Life Is the Bubbles because I say that phrase all the time. I even have bubbles tattooed on me.
I consider myself an optimistic person, even though I have faced plenty of hardship. This painting represents my belief that life can still hold joy, creativity, and little moments of magic, even when things feel difficult.

I’m So Jelly features a soft, flowing jellyfish surrounded by peaceful blue and green tones. I love painting sea creatures because they allow me to play with movement, texture, and color without worrying about making everything look too perfect.
The loose details and gentle movement give this jellyfish art print a calm, dreamy feeling.

Wavey Baby focuses on the movement and changing colors of the ocean. Rather than painting every wave realistically, I used layers of blues, whites, and soft textures to capture the feeling of looking out across the water.
This abstract ocean painting feels calm, moody, and peaceful all at once.

I painted this precious little turtle while sitting next to the ocean. I even used ocean water to blend the paint and create the watery texture throughout the piece.
This painting reminds me to just keep swimming, no matter how difficult life gets. The little turtle feels gentle and hopeful, while the real ocean water makes the artwork even more meaningful to me.

Swimmin With Fishies brings me back to one of my favorite days in Honduras.
Just Keep Swimmin’ carries actual ocean water and reminds me to keep going.
